Future Trends in Network Segmentation Technologies and Impact of Network Segmentation on Regulatory Compliance

This paper examines the ever-changing network segmentation technologies of cybersecurity and how they serve in improving security defenses and fulfilling compliance demands. As information technology develops more complex cyber threats and jurisdictions regulate the field, network segmentation is undergoing a process of restructuring. The study shows that current trends are micro-segmentation, the applications of the traditional security model Zero Trust, and how AI and MLare used in the implementation of network security strategies. This paper pinpoints one of the major defenses for organizations that want to protect their sensitive data and guard their infrastructure from hackers in this digitally hostile environment is to adopt modern network segmentation technologies.
