Author Name : P. Paramasivan, Dr. J. Sujathamalini, Dr. K. Gunasekaran, Mr. K. Sheik Ahamed Imthiyas

ABSTRACT This study explores the relationship between gratitude and self-confidence among young adults and also aims to understand how these two constructs relate with each other. Survey design was employed, data collected from 92 samples between the age range of 18-25. Gratitude questionnaire -6 (GQ-6) and Self-confidence scale was used in this study. The findings reveal a significant positive correlation between gratitude and self-confidence, suggesting that higher levels of gratitude are associated with greater self-confidence in personal and social contexts. These results underscore the importance of fostering gratitude as a potential means to enhance self confidence among young adults. Future research directions are also suggested to further investigate the mechanisms underlying this relationship.
