ABSTRACT
The crystals of cadmium iodide have been grown using zone refining and solution growth technique.The purification has been assessed using XRD and visible transparency of the crystal. Transparency being one of the indices for purification and crystalline material.A microscopic study confirms the structure of cadmium iodide crystal as reported by earlier worker.
