Higher Education plays a vital role in the development of human resources, especially in the economic front of the nation. It is universally acclaimed that one of the basic requirements for human development index. Therefore higher education has formed a continuum basis for the progress of human society besides it also inculcates social, political and cultural awareness in humanity but is also a significant medium for grasping and promoting life enhancing values among human beings. India’s higher education system has undergone massive expansion in the post-independence and now it ranks third largest in the world next to USA and China with 20,000 colleges and more than 800 universities across the country to cater the needs of approximately 8 million students.
