Immediate Effect of Tabata Training on Vo2max in College Going Students: An Experimental Study

Introduction: Tabata Training is a method that utilizes the ratio of exercise and rest. It is a method that is expected to impact increasing anaerobic and aerobic abilities significantly and significantly reduces fat levels in the human body. VO₂max testing is the gold standard or most accurate test of aerobic or cardiovascular fitness. Methodology: Age between 16-25 years were included in the study. Each circuit has 4 exercises which was performed for 20 seconds at maximum effort each followed by 10 seconds of rest in between each circuit is repeated twice and 1 minute break was given between 2 circuits, so the total duration of one circuit is 4×4=16 min, and total 4 min rest Tabata training was given for 20 min. Training was given for a day and Pre and Post VO₂max was measured by Queen’s College Step test
