ABSTRACT The tourism industry in Wayanad, Kerala, has faced significant challenges due to frequent landslides, which have disrupted infrastructure, reduced tourist footfall, and impacted the overall satisfaction of visitors. This study aims to assess the impact of post-landslide conditions on customer satisfaction, evaluate the revenue implications for the tourism sector, and identify the challenges faced by tourism operations in Wayanad. The research employs a descriptive research design, utilizing both primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected through structured questionnaires and interviews with 100 respondents, including tourists, tourism operators, and local authorities. Secondary data was gathered from academic journals, government reports, and industry publications. The findings reveal widespread dissatisfaction among tourists regarding accommodation quality, food and beverage services, transportation accessibility, and safety measures. The study also highlights the importance of infrastructure improvements, promotional campaigns, and community engagement in the recovery process. Based on the findings, the study offers recommendations for enhancing customer satisfaction, rebuilding revenue streams, and restoring confidence in Wayanad as a safe and reliable tourist destination. The research underscores the need for a coordinated approach involving government authorities, tourism businesses, and local communities to ensure the long-term sustainability of the tourism sector in Wayanad.
