Impact of Performance Tuning on System Reliability and Uptime: A Data-Driven Approach

Author Name : Amol Ashokrao Shinde, Mayur Prakashrao Gore, Neelam Kumar

ABSTRACT In this paper, the impact of performance tuning as a method of system performance improvement on system reliability and up-time are examined. On the basis of telemetry data of high-demand systems, a number of tuning approaches, including CPU optimization, adaptive load balancing, and reinforcement learning were compared based on such factors as MTBF, MTTR and system availability. The improved quick exercises represent an increase in MTBF, a decrease in the MTTR, and availability levels rising to 99.9% during optimal circumstances. The research shows that various methods based on data can significantly optimize system stability and resilience. Keywords: performance tuning, system reliability, uptime, data-driven approach, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR)
