ABSTRACT Mental health disorders, particularly anxiety and stress-related conditions, necessitate the exploration of safer and more effective therapeutic options. Matricaria chamomillaL. (Chamomile) has been traditionally recognized for its sedative and anxiolytic properties. This study investigates the pharmacological potential of chamomilederived phytocompounds through in-silico methods and online phytochemical databases. Key bioactive compounds of flower were identified in the IMPPAT database and further were analyzed for in-silicopharmacokinetics, blood-brain barrier permeability, and drug-likeness using SwissADME online tools. Findings indicatetotal of 23are following Lipinski rule showing drug likeness properties, for example (E)-beta-ocimene, (Z)-beta-Ocimene, 3,3,6- Trimethylhepta-1,5-dien-4-ol, 3,3,6-Trimethylhepta-1,5-dien-4-one, 4-Carvomenthenol, 6-Methyl-5-hepten-2-one, alpha-BisaboloneoxideA etc.By integrating traditional medicinal knowledge with computational pharmacology, this research supports chamomile’s historical use in stress relief. Databases such as IMPPAT and SwissADME were utilized to assess therapeutic relevance. The IMPPAT dataset also highlights therapeutic applications for conditions like hysteria, headaches, neuralgia, and parasympathetic modulation which are related to psychological conditions. Many phytocompounds may influence neurological pathways linked to anxiety and stress, enhancing chamomile’s value as a plant-based treatment. Using these data of chemicals found in the flower of Chamomile, further studies will become easier and can be implemented in invitro, in-vivo, and clinical studies are required to confirm the efficacy and safety of these compounds in neuropsychopharmacology.
