Industries in Telangana Following the TS-I PASS Policy: Industrialization and Decentralization of the State

Author Name : Dr. B. Neeraja

ABSTRACT Telangana, which took effect on June 2, 2014, is the 29th new state to join the Indian Union. To achieve sustainable and balanced development, the Telangana state government, which is the newest, has developed a number of policies and measures. The Telangana state ranked first in "Ease of Doing Business" for the year 2016–17 after the "Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self Certificate System" (TS-iPASS) was implemented. The primary goal of the TS-iPASS act is to achieve rapid development and decentralized industrial growth by approving applications for the establishment of new industries more quickly and with time-bound clearances in two weeks (15 days) from the date of online application submission.
