Innovative Fusion of Mandala Art with Five Traditional Indian Art Forms - Saura, Kalamkari, Phad, Madhubani, and Gond Art

ABSTRACT This research explores the Fusion of Mandala art with five traditional Indian art forms such as Madhubani art, Kalamkari art, Phad art, Gond art, Saura art. Focusing on how artistic elements such as colors, symmetry, and repetitiveness compliments each other. By conducting a survey with people, the study examines that if people know about the art forms and like the idea of combining 2 art forms and which fusion they like the most. The findings reveal that majority people do know about art forms and majority of people like the idea fusions of art forms. It’s almost equal that people want printed on phone covers and Polaroid but many suggested that they would like the prints on t-shirts or mugs or wall decor too. This study suggests new ways for artists to try something new by combining art forms. The research indicates that by combining different art forms can create new innovative suggestions to artists. As well as the feedback from responders they would like to see more designs. But doesn’t mean every fusion of art is loved by everyone.
