ABSTRACT Through real-time, automated, and decentralized data collection, intelligent embedded systems serve to revolutionize environmental monitoring in the fields of air, climate, water, and agriculture. This is important when it comes to solving complex world issues pertaining to pollution, climate change, resource shortages, and sustainable living. These small, low-power platforms with efficient microcontrollers, such as an ESP32, Arduino Uno, or Nios II, combine with sensors to measure key parameters.
