Iot Based Mine Safety System

ABSTRACT This paper presents a critical effort to construct a Mine Safety System using a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) in order to solve safety issues in underground mining. Acknowledging the susceptibility of miners' well-being and lives to the intricate hazards linked with deep mining, the study endeavors to present a novel and allencompassing safety methodology. The system monitors temperature, humidity, airflow and other environmental factors using cutting-edge WSN technology, giving real-time data for efficient safety management. This initiative, which emphasizes increasing worker well-being and productivity, is in line with mine work especially coal mine’s crucial role in India's energy industry. In order to ensure the safety of underground mining activities while maintaining operational efficiency, the suggested Mine Safety System is a viable alternative.
