ABSTRACT This paper presents the design and implementation of a console-based job portal application developed using Java. The primary objective of this project is to streamline the process of job posting and searching, thereby catering to the needs of recruiters and job seekers. The system employs object-oriented programming principles to ensure modularity, scalability, and ease of maintenance. It utilizes Java's Array List for dynamic data storage and incorporates an intuitive input mechanism via Java's Scanner class. This paper highlights the functionalities of adding, viewing, and searching job listings, demonstrating the versatility and efficiency of Java in developing practical applications.
