ABSTRACT Background: Dental aerosols, composed of fine particles and droplets generated during dental procedures, pose significant risks of disease transmission, particularly in high-risk environments like dental clinics. Understanding and managing these aerosols are critical for ensuring the safety of both dental professionals and patients. Despite advancements in infection control measures, the level of awareness and knowledge about dental aerosols among dental students varies. Adequate training and adherence to guidelines are essential for fostering safe practices. This study aims to assess the awareness, knowledge, and preparedness of dental students in managing dental aerosols, identifying gaps in education, and exploring ways to improve infection control protocols.
