Author Name : Dr. Rajeshwari Suryakant Gurav, Dr. Preeti, Dr. Yogita Dnyaneshwar Pawar, Dr. Pooja Patil, Dr. Pranoosha Koti

ABSTRACT Pregnancy is a crucial phase requiring meticulous care to ensure the health of both mother and fetus. Ayurveda describes a systematic month-wise antenatal care regimen known as Masanumasika Garbhini Paricharya, which emphasizes specific dietary measures, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting optimal fetal growth and preventing maternal complications. Classical Ayurvedic texts correlate maternal nutrition and conduct with the progressive development of fetal organs and systems. Modern embryology similarly recognizes the critical influence of maternal health, nutrition, and environment on embryogenesis and organogenesis. The integrative understanding of these two sciences provides a comprehensive approach to antenatal care by correlating Ayurvedic month-wise guidelines with contemporary milestones of fetal development.
