ABSTRACT Mathematics has become increasingly critical in botany, with applications spanning from plant growth modeling to the ecological and genetic analysis of plant populations. This paper investigates mathematical techniques used in various botanical domains, including differential equations for growth modeling, statistical tools for population genetics, and computational algorithms for resource optimization. Through examples, such as logistic growth models and Bayesian trait prediction, we illustrate how mathematical approaches help predict plant behaviors, improve agricultural yields, and conserve plant biodiversity. The findings underscore the essential role of interdisciplinary methods in addressing the challenges of modern botanical research.
