Method for the Development of Fingerprint with the Usage of Adhesive Glue

ABSTRACT
In current scenario, different methods are used for committing crimes have been emerged in the society. While the new methods have assisted to identify and investigate the suspect. In investigation the most common evidence found at crime scene are fingerprints which may be latent, patent or plastic prints. To compare with fingerprints found at scene of crime the important part is that the fingerprints collected from suspect or person should be clear and visible to compare with prints found at crime scene. Thus for the development and recording of fingerprints from suspect we can use adhesive glue for development of fingerprints. This method is simple and easy to perform by any officer or expert. By the use of adhesive glue we can record all the finger ridges, skin cuts and other minute damages on skin. This method is effectively suitable for collection of fingerprints from a dead bodies as well as which have rigor mortis. The sample collected by this method can be easily handled and can be examined multiple times.
