ABSTRACT Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has emerged as an autologous, bioactive concentrate with applications across multiple medical specialties. This study consolidates molecular and clinical paradigms of PRP preparation and utilisation, emphasising the need for doctoral-level scientific supervision (Ph. D. /D. Sc. in Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology, Regenerative Medicine). Manual double-spin centrifugation yields approximately 1 mL of PRP per 10 mL of whole blood, ensuring reproducibility and fidelity compared to commercial kits.
