Navigating the Path to Food Security: A Case Study of Rural Rajasthan

ABSTRACT This paper illuminates critical insights into the dynamics of food and nutritional security in rural Rajasthan, highlighting opportunities for progress and improved well-being. We leverage data from the National Family Health Survey-5 (2019-21) to assess the prevailing nutritional landscape and its impact on health outcomes. Our analysis reveals that despite significant advancements in agricultural production, the equitable distribution of resources and the purchasing power of rural households remain key areas for targeted intervention.
