ABSTRACT In all the Pedagogical methods related to mathematics learning, error detection and correction practices serves as the best input and evaluation method in Structured learning, enhancing critical, abstract and logical thinking. It also provides a variety of thinking and learning opportunities that will allow students to practice essential skills of correct usages, avoiding uninteresting environment to make it sportive, careful and alerted environment. Error Detection and Correction practices used in Structured Learning is appropriate for students who require a highly structured program (Structured learning approach) in understanding the subject with greater illustrations. It also gives hands–on training in expediting the understanding of the subject, remembering of essential ideas, correct usages of mathematical rules or formulas. The research is based on literature survey and qualitative analysis through questionnaire, collected from both the undergraduate students, post graduate students and Lecturers at Post Graduate centers.
