ABSTRACT
Aeroponics is the process of growing plants in the air with roots in the water nutrient - mist environment without the use of soil. Aeroponic culture differs from conventional hydroponics, aquaponics, and in-vitro (plant tissue culture) growing. Aeroponic systems use water, liquid nutrients and a soilless growing medium to grow quickly and efficiently more colorful, tastier, better smelling and incredibly nutritious produce. Aeroponics is a farming technique involving plant cultivation in an enclosed chamber by aeration of roots through micro-spray of aqueous nutrient mist. The word aeroponic is derived from aer (air) and ponos (Labour) of the Greek.
