ABSTRACT The security of key agreement and key protection is of paramount importance in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of sensitive data in various communication systems. This project report presents a comprehensive study and implementation of key agreement and key protection mechanisms to address security challenges in communication networks. The project focuses on two key aspects: key agreement protocols and key protection techniques. Key agreement protocols establish secure communication channels between entities by securely exchanging cryptographic keys. The report explores various key agreement protocols, such as DiffieHellman, RSA, and Elliptic Curve Cryptography, assessing their security properties and performance characteristics.
