Qu Xixian and Pastoral

ABSTRACT
Qu Xixian (1919-2008) was a Chinese female composer. The major proportion of her compositions are vocal music, especially the choral music. Her choral compositions reflect different characteristics of Chinese choral music in different time periods. Pastoral is one of the representative choral compositions by this composer.
