Relationship between Job Stress, Mental Well Being, Hope and Resilience
Author Name : Dr. Nida Nafees, Radhika Bhagat
ABSTRACT
This research investigated the relationship between job stress, mental well being, hope and resilience. This correlational study used SPSS to ascertain the correlations between variables. The data was collected on the sample size of 144(73 males & 71 females) through Perceived Stress Scale, Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS) & Psychological Capital Scale (Only Hope and Resilience). The result indicated that the job stress is negatively correlated with other variables, i.e. mental wellbeing, hope and resilience. This means with increase in stress, the mental wellbeing, hope and resilience of individual will decline and vice versa.
