Research On_Formulation And Evaluation of Adulsa (Adhatoda Vasika) Leaf Juice By Using Adjuvant Honey & Ginger

ABSTRACT This study assessed the Formulation and Evaluation of Adhatoda Vasica Leaf Juice. A study was conducted for the Formulation & Evaluation of Adulsa leaf juice by using adjuvant Honey & Ginger. Adhatoda Vasica is an imprtant medicinal plant widely used in Unani system of medicine of (Family-Acanthaceae.) The leaves of Adhatoda vasica contain several biologically active phytochemicals such as alkaloids, tannins, saponins, phenolies and flavonoids. Leaf juice is beneficial in the treatment of dysentry and diarrhoea. Various activities like modulation, hypoglycaemic effect, cardiovascular protection, antitubercular, antiviral, hepatoprotective and antioxidant activity have also been report. Adulsa Leaf Juice uses in cough and bleeding Disorders. The medicinal uses of Adulsa leaves are attributed to its antitussive, antimicrobial and ani-nflammatory propperties. Its leaf juice is the most common home remedy for ough, respiratory deseases and bleeding disorders. It is also a highly effective natural medicine for respiratory infections. In Ayurveda, Adulsa Juice is also called Adusa Swarasa, Adulsa Swarasa and Vasa Svarasa.
