Research Trends in Personality Traits: A Review

ABSTRACT

When discussing psychological qualities, individuals can disagree on a variety of different topics. An aspect of one's personality is not a single or particular activity (a means to characterise one of their actions). These patterns could include one or more actions, emotions, desires, ideas, or perhaps all of these. One may comprehend personality-based variations between persons by asking "why does one usually act this way but not that way?" Even if personality characteristics are related to and corresponding with this, there are more nuanced explanations for them as well. This article mainly reviews the research trends in the field of personality traits among several taxonomies of personality trait types, so that, we can get the trend of research interests in this domain. It is based on secondary data. Different published article, thesis, dissertation, conference proceedings, books are reviewed to reach the objectives of this work.
