Resorption: Pathogenesis, Classification and Management- A review

ABSTRACT

Tooth resorption is a process of inflammatory reaction of the dental tissues in response to infection. Resorption is usually misdiagnosed, based on stimulating factors and accordingly various type of root resorption can be classified and diagnosed properly. Following which appropriate treatment can be done. This review article describes about etiological factors, pathophysiology,classifications and management of all different types of resorptions.
