This dosage form combines gel and emulsion in a single container. Because of its dual release control mechanism, Emerging as one of the most interesting new technologies, emulgelas topical delivery methods in recent years. Consider the distinction between a gel and an emulsion. This formulation's main purpose is to improve the absorption of hydrophobic medicines into the bloodstream. Emulgels are formed when a gelling ingredient is added to the aqueous phase. Emulgels, which are used in dermatology, have the advantages of being easily applied and removed, of being water soluble, of having a longer shelf life, of being biodegradable, and of having a clear, appealing appearance. These emulgels provide dermatologists a number of benefits, including the possibility to employ them. To boost penetration, a number of penetration enhancers can be utilised in concert with one another. Because of these advancements, the approach has the potential to be a more effective topical drug administration system than the currently existing traditional systems.
