Screening Urinary Incontinence among Postmenopausal Females around Bhiwandi Taluka- A Feasibility Study

ABSTRACT Background- Urinary incontinence (UI) continues to be a persistent challenge among postmenopausal (PM) females. Awareness regarding UI is lacking among females, especially in the rural areas. This problem is often associated with distress, discomfort and loss of self-esteem. This study was undertaken to screen UI and its types using QUID Questionnaire, among postmenopausal females around Bhiwandi Taluka. Cross-sectional study, included thirty PM females with UI symptoms from rural areas around Bhiwandi.
