ABSTRACT Background: This review provides an in-depth look at Coffea Arabica seeds, covering their taxonomy, phytochemistry, medicinal uses, and pharmacological action. It emphasizes the existence of bioactive substances like coffee, polyphenols, and trigonelline, and explores their traditional and modern uses in treating various diseases. The review showcases the potential of Coffea Arabica seeds for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications and calls for further research to fully utilize their benefits. Methods: A library, Google Scholar, PubMed, Web of Science, SciFinder, and others have all been used to gather literature. The botany, pharmacology, phytochemistry, distribution, and health advantages of coffee bean seeds are all updated in this review.
