SIP Investment Trends Among Millennials and Gen Z: A Generational Perspective

ABSTRACT This study examines the financial choices of Generation Z and Millennials, focusing on their preference for mutual fund Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs). These younger generations, with their unique investing patterns and perspectives, are becoming significant market players. The study identifies key factors influencing their investment choices, such as risk tolerance, financial literacy, technology use, and socioeconomic conditions. It also compares these trends with those of previous generations to highlight differences. Using a mixed-method approach, the research combines quantitative data with qualitative insights from surveys and interviews. The study concludes with recommendations to enhance young investors' participation and engagement in SIPs, aiming for a more inclusive and progressive investing environment.
