SSS Model in Skill Development

ABSTRACT
Global mega trends such as the development of technology, climate change, demographic shifts, urbanization, and the globalization of value chains are changing the nature of work and skills demands. To succeed in the 21st century labour market, one needs a comprehensive skill sets like cognitive skills, socio-emotional skills, technical skill, digital skills etc. The development of skills can contribute to structural transformation and economic growth by enhancing employability and labour productivity and helping countries to become more competitive.
However, there are two important issues which should be overcome with respect to learning of skills by the candidates. Since there are many skill development areas, which area to be selected by the candidates. The second one is, if the candidate acquired a new skill set, and if the employment is delayed, then there is every chance of losing the acquired skill. Here the author proposed a new model called SSS model to overcome the above two issues.
