Study of Physicochemical Parameters from Kurnur Dam, Akkalkot

ABSTRACT
Present study is carried on variations occurring in physicochemical parameters from Kurnur Dam during monsoon 2020- 2021. Water samples from three study sites were collected and analyzed for physicochemical parameters. (Temperature, pH, Dissolved oxygen, BOD, COD, Total Hardness, Nitrates and phosphates.) The results showed study sites experience seasonality as well as human interventions. The analytical data for various parameters showed that majority of parameters found to be within permissible limits as per standards of ISI. It is also observed that human activities have it’s profound influence on physicochemical parameters.
