Synthesis and Characterization of Caffeine Drugs Complex

ABSTRACT

Simple methods have been found to carry out the preparation of caffeine drugs complexes. Caffeine drugs complexes viz. caffeine-paracetamol, caffeine-aspirin, caffeine-cetirizine, caffeine- ibuprofen were prepared by reacting caffeine with their respective drugs powder. Caffeine drugs complexes were characterized using IR, ¹H-NMR and ¹³C-NMRspectroscopy.
