Synthesis of Acridine Derivatives Using [Bmim]Br Ionic Liquid as Promoter

ABSTRACT
A simplistic and suitable protocol for the synthesis of high yielding acridine derivatives has been developed by one-pot three component reactions of dimedone, aromatic aldehyde and ammonium acetate using ionic liquid [Bmim]Br as a promoter.
