The Effect of Test Items Organisation on Students’ Academic Performance in Advanced Level Economics in Fako Division, South West Region of Cameroon

ABSTRACT The study aimed at investigating the effect of test items organization on students’ academic performance in advance level economics. The specific research questions which guided the study is to find out to which extend does test items organized in increasing, decreasing, or mixed order of difficulty affect students’ academic performance in Advanced level economics? This study which was an experimental study considered 50 students randomly sampled from five public secondary schools in Fako division, South West Region of Cameroon. The researchers constructed a 20 item Multiple Choice Test for Advanced Level Economics.
