ABSTRACT The aim of the research is to investigate the effect of makeup use on women between 18-30 years, with a focus on psychological, social, economic, and health factors. The study investigates various makeup types, facial structures, and application methods while considering the external factors of social media, celebrities, and peer pressure. A survey was conducted to determine the influence of makeup on confidence, self-esteem, and emotional health. Having knowledge of how makeup plays a function in women's lives can inform its use as something enhancing mentally or detracting mentally, influencing attitudes toward beauty culture in contemporary society.
