The Impact of Remote Work on Employee Engagement and Organizational Commitment: A Post-Pandemic Analysis

Author Name : Saranya R, Dr.T Sheeba

ABSTRACT The COVID-19 pandemic significantly transformed traditional work settings, making remote work not just a temporary solution but a long-term reality. This paper explores the post-pandemic impact of remote work on employee engagement and organizational commitment. Through a mixed-methods approach combining surveys and interviews, the study finds that while remote work offers flexibility and autonomy, it also brings challenges in maintaining team cohesion and emotional connection to the organization. This analysis contributes to strategic recommendations for leaders aiming to foster a resilient and engaged remote workforce.
