The 'Last Ride Together' is a sonnet of pathetic love. The darling is dismissed. In any case, he doesn't fault his paramour. He envisions that the world may maybe end this evening and the cheerful second might transform into an unfathomable length of time. This is a surprising response. The two rides together. The woman lays her head on the darling's bosom. He feels that he has acquired all the abundance of the world. When he was miserable yet presently, he is exuberant. He needs to fail to remember the past. He isn't upset for his disappointments. All make endeavour however not many succeed. Achievement and disappointments are not significant.
