ABSTRACT
A descriptive study to assess knowledge level among staff nurses regarding usage of Morse fall scale as an assessment tool in the prevention of the patient fall in selected NABH affiliated Hospital, Indore. A descriptive study design was used to achieve the objectives of the study. The study was conducted with 75 staff nurses. Convenient sampling technique was adopted to select the sample. Finding revealed that the majority 56(74.7%) were in the age group of 21-25 years and minority 19(25.3%) in the age 36 and above. In relation to the gender 67(89.3%) are female and 8(10.7%) are male. In consent to the education majority of staff nurses 56(74.7%) had BSc nursing and only 19(25.3%) had post B.Sc Nursing. In relation with working department the majority 52(69.3%) working in ICU and minority 23(30.7%) working in private ward. In consent to working experience of staff nurses majority 57(76%) have less than 2year experience minority 18(24%) have more than 4year experience.
