ABSTRACT The state of women health is indeed completely tied up with the culture in which she lives, her position in it as well as the way she lives her life as an individual. During her span of existence, she undergoes different changes physically and mentally. Every woman faces various physiological and psychological changes, during this change of life as a part of hormonal derangement. These disturbances will be in stage of menopause .“Menopause” is defined as the time of cessation of ovarian function resulting in permanent amenorrhea, it takes 12 months of amenorrhea to confirm the menopause. “Perimenopause” is known as transitional period before menopause (40-50yrs). Perimenopause may begin as early as mid 30s or as late as mid 50s. Peri-menopause is a transitional period before menopause (40-50yrs) presenting with psychological and somatic symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweat, sleep disorders, weakness, joint pain, anxiety,mood changes- irritability, depression, headache. Amlakyavaleha is used in Rajonivrutti lakshanas because it does Dhatu Poshan and Helps to reduce Psychological condition by decreasing vitiated vata and pitta dosha.
