Using Integer Programming to Solve Daily Life Problems

Author Name : Safaa Subhi Akbar, Dr. Vishal Vincent Henry, Satakshi

ABSTRACT Integer Programming (IP) is a mathematical optimization technique widely used in solving real-world decision-making problems where variables must take integer values. This research paper presents an in-depth study of integer programming and its applications in solving daily life problems. The study focuses on three classical optimization problems: the Knapsack Problem, the Assignment Problem, and the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). Each problem is explained with mathematical formulation, constraints, and practical examples
