Youth and Entrepreneurship: Perception Study as a Career Option

ABSTRACT Entrepreneurship is an important aspect of country’s economic growth. Entrepreneurs pay to creativity and innovation. In this paper, we try to study the importance of entrepreneurship in different time period and its challenges and also try to analyse the perception of the youth regarding entrepreneurship as a career option. Over the last few decades, India has witnessed a significant surge in the field of entrepreneurship. India has emerged as a thriving hub for the development of new business owners nowadays. The Indian government has implemented many efforts to promote entrepreneurship development.Policymakers in India are increasingly interested in entrepreneurship. The paper concluded that majority of respondents believe that entrepreneurship is a viable career option in today's society, with none expressing disagreement.
