A Study on Financial Performance Analysis of Salem Steel Plant with Reference to Cost Efficiency

ABSTRACT This research will expose the financial condition of the Salem Steel Plant through the application of secondary data derived from the firm's public financial records. The primary objective of this research will be to analyze the firm's financial status, operational efficiency, and overall performance for a given time period through the application of several financial analytical tools (including ratio analysis, trend analysis, comparative statements, and common-size analysis).Financial variables including liquidity, profitability, solvency, and efficiency will be analyzed to measure how effectively the corporation is utilizing its resources and meeting its obligations.
